Parece que los teclados físicos en los teléfonos móviles siguen siendo objeto de deseo hasta el nivel de que TiTAN slim ha conseguido recaudar una absurda cantidad en Kickstarter.
Para sorpresa de todo el mundo, parece que el teclado físico en los móviles es algo que todavía buscan muchos usuarios o, al menos, eso es lo que nos dice el Kickstarter de TiTAN slim. Es posible que este dispositivo no te suene de nada y es completamente normal ya que llega para ser un sucesor espiritual de Blackberry.
Al ser un proyecto en Kickstarter lo cierto es que cuando dimos la noticia tuvimos cierta precaución ya que, normalmente, estos proyectos no terminan haciéndose realidad al no conseguir los fondos suficientes para que se lleven a cabo. Lo que ha ocurrido en este caso es bastante sorprendente y solo podría pasar en Kickstarter.
Unihertz es la empresa que está detrás de este proyecto y en su momento de lanzamiento el apoyo que solicitaban por parte de los usuarios era de 50.000 dólares. La cifra, aunque alta, no es descabellada para poder llevar a cabo la creación, producción y distribución de un teléfono Android con teclado físico.
Pese a no ser una cantidad alta la que han pedido, lo que muchos especulaban era que no iban a conseguir su objetivo y, la verdad, es que se han visto proyectos de Kickstarter mejores fracasar. Ahora, lo que ha ocurrido es bastante memorable, Unihertz ha conseguido cerca de medio millón de dólares.
Sí, habéis leído bien. El salto que han dado a nivel de dinero conseguido es una absoluta locura. Los usuarios que hayan decidido apostar por esta propuesta de Kickstarter lo que conseguirán es el teléfono Titan Slim por un precio de 249 dólares que es un 25% menos del precio con el que saldrá en venta.
No es un dispositivo barato y, de hecho, a nivel de prestaciones lo que nos encontramos es un teléfono de gama alta de hace un par de años en cuanto a procesador gracias al MediaTek Helio P70. Pero en otros apartados como la pantalla, deja mucho que desear, de hecho, esta pantalla tendrá un tamaño de solo 4,2 pulgadas.
La resolución será HD por lo que se queda un escalón por debajo del Full HD y un par por debajo de QHD. Además, nada de 90 Hz o 120 Hz. Este panel tendrá 60 Hz como tasa de refresco y para la conectividad, aunque el 5G esté de moda no lo encontraremos en este dispositivo.
Por el momento el dinero que han conseguido es exactamente 481.210 dólares y todavía quedan 27 días para que se cierre el proyecto, así que es probable que sobrepasen el medio millón de dólares y sería una sorpresa que alcanzasen el millón de dólares. Lo cierto es que la nostalgia hace mucho.
