El bot conversacional basado en inteligencia artificial ChatGPT tiene muchos puntos positivos a la hora de poder usarlo en el día a día para ofrecer respuestas a todas las preguntas que se hacen e incluso para hacer trabajos. Pero tiene como punto negativo que puede tardar bastante tiempo en generar las respuestas, haciendo que pasemos varios segundos viendo como se va cargando el texto.
Esto es lo que ha manifestado un desarrollador en su cuenta de Twitter llamado Tony Dinsh que en un fin de semana ha creado una nueva interfaz de usuario para ChatGPT que es más eficiente. Esta se llama Typingmind y es completamente gratuita con la propia clave API de OpenAI de cada usuario. Nosotros hemos podido probar esta nueva alternativa, y nos ha dejado un muy buen sabor de boca.
Una interfaz para ChatGPT que prima por su rapidez
Lo cierto es que tras dar una oportunidad a esta nueva IA, nos hemos encontrado muchas sorpresas. Lo primero a tener en cuenta que es para hacer uso de ellas vas a tener que conseguir tu API Key en los ajustes de usuarios de OpenAI, que te va a permitir identificarte sin ningún tipo de problema en esta interfaz tan novedosa.
Una vez se accede, se van a ver tres opciones:
- Selección de personaje: con esta opción vas a poder elegir que la IA simule un rol concreto como por ejemplo un experto en marketing, un tutor de idiomas o un asesor financiero. Esto hará que las respeustas que se reciban sean mucho más adecuadas.
- Configuración del modelo: en este caso se va a poder elegir el modelo de ChatGPT que se va a querer usar en las consultas, e incluso poder elegir la instrucción inicial del sistema.
- Prompt Library: como su propio nombre indica es un espacio que está destinado a todos los usuarios que quieren contribuir al desarrollo de esta nueva interfaz con nuevas prompt.
Una vez configurados estos parámetros vas a poder comenzar a escribir todas las preguntas a ChatGPT o las peticiones que tengas en mente. Se permite también dar permiso al micrófono del dispositivo que estás usando para poder dictar el texto a introducir haciéndolo completamente accesible. Y en la parte izquierda se encontrarán los diferentes chats con un buscador para encontrar palabras clave.
La respuesta es la misma que se obtiene cuando se hace la búsqueda en la web oficial de OpenAI, pero con la diferencia que la respuesta es mucho más rápida siendo esta la principal ventaja que existe con respecto a la web original. Pero algo realmente interesante es que en la parte superior de la web se va a poder ver cuánto ha costado generar estas respuestas.
Para poder materializar si es más rápido o no, se ha hecho una prueba con la misma petición para que se generara un texto de 1.000 palabras sobre una técnica de biología molecular. En el caso de esta nueva interfaz se ha generado en un total de 38 segundos, mientras que en ChatGPT la respuesta ha tardado 58 segundos. Estos 20 segundos de diferencia de manera aproximada son realmente interesantes cuando hablamos de una respuesta que tiene una extensión considerable.
Más allá de esto la respuesta que se genera es exactamente la misma, sin mostrar si ChatGPT está saturado o no y además con un acceso también más eficiente. De manera personal creo que es una idea muy bien planteada, y que puede ser la opción más adecuada si se quiere usar ChatGPT al poder ahorrar tiempo de manera sustancial.
